Just for the ease of access and affordability, I have chosen to go with the free online PDF of the Ramayana to read.
The comics that I am interested in are:
Shiva Parvati: This comic interests me because of what the summary had to offer. Although the summary is short, there is a lot packed into it. I feel like there is a lot that could be gained from this comic and I think I would really enjoy the full version. The story of "diving love" really intrigued me and I think that there could be some really interesting discussions surrounding this story.
Parashurama: I also chose this comic because of the summary that I read. I found the synopsis super interesting. I also found the attached image to be super interesting because of the artwork. I think that the lore of the story will be super interesting and could relate really well to the sorts of things I want to discuss.
The videos I am interested in are:
Crash Course - Rama and the Ramayana: So, I could not figure out how to edit the link text to not be the plain URL, but I will continue to try to figure something out. Ultimately I chose this video because I love Crash Course videos and I find the format extremely useful. I love the images, the closed captioning, the appropriate cartoons, and the narration. I think the format for the videos are very informative and accessible.
The Source - Who Created the Universe?: This video really interested me because of the title. I really like asking these difficult questions, so I figured I would enjoy this video in context to the epics of India. I feel like this could also be useful for the sort of things I would like to discuss.

*I chose this image because I loved the colors, although they are muted, they still feel bright with the yellow. I cannot quite understand what is going on in the image but I still really enjoyed it and the feelings it evoked.
