I really enjoyed browsing through this website. I think that it was really well done and focused on a very important topic. For all of these topics, I tried to focus on sites about women, that is how I ended up with the topics that I did. I tend to focus on female-driven literature, so there is a good chance that for my own site that I may do something related to women in the stories. This site had great stories, easy readability, and was very accessible. I really liked the formatting and that everything was linked to everything else, rather than overwhelming the home page.
Like I previously stated, I wanted to focus on female-driven works, so something about the first feminists really appealed to me. I really liked this site because it was broken up into the different interviews. I wish that there was more to see, visually speaking, but it is a pretty sound website. I think there a few critiques that I would make, but as a whole, it is really well done. I think that the storytelling and writing is certainly the strongest part of the entire site. I love how the dialogue is done. I also really enjoyed how some of the stories have Youtube videos included for extra added detail.
First off, I really enjoyed the yellow and black color scheme. It was a bit harsh on the eyes, but it was still very readable. The entire page is rather accessible and easy to navigate, and I appreciate the imagery that the author provided. This website is probably my favorite, especially visually speaking. The stories, although some short, were also really well done. Overall, this site had the best imagery, best visuals, and the best layout, font choice, and font size. To me, the attention to typography detail is just as important as the story content, so I appreciate the effort that the creator put in.
